Personal Statement:
My passion for education and foreign languages developed during my time in school, where I excelled in organizing various events for primary classes. During my studies at the Primary School Teachers’ Training College in St. Petersburg, I actively participated in pedagogical conferences and received recognition for my reports.
As I progressed through my college studies, I realized that education is a broad subject and decided to focus on a specific field. Due to my proficiency in English and German, I pursued methods of language teaching. Under the guidance of Mrs. Krylova, my teacher, I extensively studied intensive language teaching methods.
Currently, my interest has shifted towards multilingual education, which would provide a solid foundation for comprehensive literary education at all levels. Although this concept has been discussed, standardized programs are yet to be developed. It would be fascinating and fulfilling to create such programs for schoolchildren, allowing them to enhance their language skills and expand their knowledge of foreign literature.
As my studies at the College are nearing completion, I aspire to continue my education at the University of Toronto. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree, I intend to pursue further studies and author relevant textbooks for my courses. I am aware of the esteemed reputation of your university and sincerely hope to be granted the privilege of continuing my academic journey at your institution.
